NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION:

If your child is new to Edmonton Public Schools, you can register for school online. Visit the Division website to learn how to register for public school.

CURRENT DIVISION STUDENTS PRE-ENROL:

You must pre-enroll on SchoolZone to tell us what school you’d like your child to attend next year. Find important dates and deadlines and learn more about pre-enrolment, which opens between March and April each year.

Student Services offers the following services:

Educational Counselling:

  • Selection of courses.

  • Program planning.

  • Graduation requirements.

  • College or university entrance requirements/information.

  • Technical school/apprenticeship, requirements/information.

  • Transitioning to post-secondary.

Financial Assistance:

  • Scholarship information.

  • Grant and loan information for high school, college, and university.

Personal Counselling:

  • Confidential discussion of personal and family concerns.

  • Conflict resolution/anger management assistance.

Career Counselling:

  • Establishing career goals.

  • Exploration of related occupations.

  • Brochures and pamphlets on career and post-secondary institutions.

  • Career presentations.

Referrals:

  • Counselors can provide appropriate referrals to other school system services or agencies.

Tutors:

  • A variety of tutoring services are available through Student Services. These include peer tutoring, university students through the Study Buddy program, and other community organizations. Please contact Student Services for more information.

Mentors:

  • Our mentors help students feel comfortable and achieve success in school. To learn more about our mentor program, please visit or connect with us to find out more about this program!
